It has been my distinct privilege to serve as the Magistrate of District No. 1 in Shelby County since my initial election in 2018 and taking the oath of office in January 2019.  My term as the Magistrate for District 1, ended in January 2023.  I am grateful to the citizens of Shelbyville for your trust and support while serving.  Representing the citizens of District No. 1 has been a singular honor and pleasure, Thank you.

Public service has long been important to me.  I served on the City Council in the 1980s, I have been continually active in the Kiwanis Club of Shelbyville for many years and work in other civic-minded organizations and events. Shelbyville and Shelby County have been exceptionally good to me through the years, and I am proud to have this opportunity to give back to our community and to honor those who have poured their lives into making our District the great home that it is today.  As we look to the future, it is my desire to continue the good work that has been started and to make it as good or better for those who come after me.
